We have been raised with or owned dogs for over 40 years. In fact dogs are our passion, and we love to go on long walks in the woods away from roads and traffic. We walk in all weathers, come rain, snow, or shine.
Dogs require a lot of exercise, and with no time on your hands, what better way than to have your dogs personally walked for you. Tails to Tell only go to 'safe walks' in enclosed areas like woodland and parks away from roads. If the dog owner requests us to let their dog off the lead to explore and play; a full agreement has to be reached first, by both parties!
We will only then let them off if we are confident that your dog will return when called!
We use a variety of walks around North West Leicestershire and South Derbyshire. We will collect your dog from your home.
Your dog will be out for approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour on a countryside walk and this does not include the drive to and back from the location if required.
Dogs need to walk in all weathers, so we will always ensure they are rubbed down with clean paws before returning them home. Included in our dog walking service are the following; your dog gets fresh water and any treats, only with their owners consent.
We offer a one to one walk and ensure that no more than a maximum of two to three dogs per owner go on a walk.
This way we maintain full control and it is particularly suited to dogs that are stressed if accompanied by other dogs.
This also allows us to give your dog the exercise and attention that it needs.
